A Little Life Update 04.12.25

Hello my loves!!

The sun is shining and spring has most definitely arrived.

The air is fresh and I can hear the birds chirping while I sip my coffee which is 100% my favourite sound ever. I’m sat here wearing my new favourite dress and I just can’t help but feel so grateful.

Spring brings me so much joy, it almost feels like the start to another new year. So what’s new and what am I focusing on?

Career Change

I started working at The Cross this past November. If you don’t know, The Cross is basically the best and most beautiful home store in Vancouver. Recently, I was promoted to Junior Stylist and  oh my goodness I love it so much! Helping clients style their homes and businesses is something I never thought I would love so much. I’ve always worked in fashion but my love for home decor and simply helping people become the best version of themselves through, wellness, style and interior styles has made this career transition so natural and it just makes sense.If you’re in town you should definitely pop by the store! Update on the Girls

If you’re wondering about the girls, Nala and Monica are doing great! Monica just celebrated her 2nd birthday and very much enjoyed some pumpkin pancakes for breakfast! They’re certainly happy to see the arrival of spring as well, running on the patio and enjoying some extra walks. 

Wellness Habits I’m Focusing On

At the start of each quarter I like to sit down and go over my goals, update and edit as necessary. When it comes to my wellness habits, this spring I’m focusing on daily yoga and mediation. Yoga has always been in my life but sometimes it tends to be forgotten when other workouts and ways of movement take over. It’s always the one that makes me feel my absolute best though. Traditional yoga focuses not on the physical ‘workout’ but the mind and energy behind it and as someone that can be hard on herself in a physical perfectionist type of way, focusing on the energy and mindfulness behind the movement is always a very welcomed approach. Leaving me feeling strong and compassionate instead of tired and judgemental towards myself. With that said, my goal is to practice yoga every day and go for lots of long walks in the beautiful sunshine! Reading is also a big priority for me this season. Leaving my phone and opting for a my favourite books instead. It truly is a much better way to spend your time than scrolling on your phone. (A few inspiring Pinterest scrolls are always allowed here and there though!) I’ve also started drinking my green glow drink daily again which oh my god, I can’t believe I would ever stop. It’s truly a magical debloat drink. Let me know if you want a whole post done on that! 

Becoming You The Brand

If you didn’t already know, Becoming You – The Journal is now being sold in one of my favourite stores in Calgary, LABODE. I still can’t believe I manifested that! So beyond grateful to the lovely Labode girls, you should definitely go check it out, their store is gorgeous. 

I’m also working on the design of a new product that I can’t wait to share with you!! Keep your eyes out, it’ll be launching soon.
