Hob Nobs

growing up, my grandma always had the classic hobnobs in the fridge and they were always my favourite treat when going to visit her.

we lost her last year and I was very graciously given one of her tea sets, the one that I always used when we had a cup of tea together. when I started using the set at home, I immediately wanted a hob nob. You know me though… I don’t like buying packaged treats when I know I can find a recipe to make at home and pretty much always make a little healthier.

So I set out to figure out the perfect hob nob recipe. And here it is! they make a lovely mid afternoon treat with a cup of tea. enjoy!

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

  2. cream together butter and sugar with handheld beaters (2-3 minutes)
  3. Add syrup and combine
  4. Beat in oats and wheat germ
